| | New Happenings at Papa G's |  We really do appreciate your support and are glad that there are folks out there like you that understand what we are about, selling all natural (NO-GMO), organic, vegan food that is great for you and for the planet. It is not an easy task using all organic ingredients and keeping prices affordable. We have a limited advertising budget and really do appreciate you all helping us spread the word about Papa G's. We are really thrilled to be working with our friend, co-worker, mentor, as well as the former head vegetarian chef at Reed College, Brigu Das. Brigu brings years of culinary experience and devotion to excellence in serving the body as well as the spirit. You all might remember Brigu from the The Song of the Rose on NW 23rd back in the mid '90's, or eating his amazing food when we both worked together at the Daily Grind on Hawthorne, back in the mid '90's. We are really excited to be together again and look for big things to come in the near future.
We are also happy to be selling food from our friends at Kitchen Dances. We are currently offering raw cheesecakes, raw fudge, raw nori rolls, and raw green papaya salad. We also now have whole cheesecakes available by special order. So for all of the raw foodies out there that always ask us for more raw food here is your chance :)
We are also always evolving at Papa G's. If you haven't been in come give us a try and see what's changed over the past couple of years! As you already know all of our food is made in house and is always organic and vegan and GMO Free. We also offer lots of gluten free options as well as food that contains no other allergens. We are now growing our own sprouts for the salad bar, making our own keifered ginger beer, and have an always changing special board.

From Weddings to Company Picnics Papa G's caters it all. We can customize a catering menu to meet any specific group size. We are also happy to provide you with full service catering or pick up/ do it yourself when you are on a budget. We specialize in catering for allergy sensitive diets.

We also have an event space in North Portland called 
The North Star Ballroom
where our commercial kitchen space is located that we host events, it holds
around 300 people. The North Star Ballroom is a perfect place for weddings,
parties, or musical/theater events. We receive a special discounted rate
and really love doing special events there. Feel free to contact us with your next event or idea.
Papa G's does large orders for worker/ office lunches and dinners for take out or delivery. You can call the deli and our staff will be more than happy to take your order and have it ready for pick up or schedule delivery.

By using compostable to-go containers, offering all organic vegan food, buying local, using green renewable power, using bamboo throughout, using high efficiency lighting, buying 100% recycled paper products, composting everything (we don't even have a trash in our lobby) and choosing green building products and practices in our remodel we are committed to providing the most sustainable tasty organic vegan food on the market today.
